The Aurora R12 build is amazing value, especially with the rtx being so overpriced, and it having an i9 processor. The lower end pcs are a bit worse in value but the higher ends are a lot better. There are all kinds of alienware customers including many that are hardware pros and can easily build their own systems. Alienware is very clear about what goes into their systems and they use quality parts.

My R4 I bought 5 years ago. Well I started it one day and the screen was blank. I called Dell and my warranty expired. They renewed the warranty for bucks. Well they came out and the motherboard fried. I went from a 16gb 3. Oh and when I had my warranty i burned out the video cards. Yeah I should have built my own gaming computer lol!
The mother board on that is still working yet a brand spanking Alienware motherboard bit the bullet in less than 2 years so that says a lot about it. Any ways I wish I would have looked at my other options in retrospect. Dell let me reup my warranty.
